Inside the latest issue, there's an introduction to Professor Andy Long, who has been appointed Northumbria University’s fifth Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive following the announcement that Professor Andrew Wathey CBE is to retire in May 2022, after leading the University for the past 14 years. Professor Long will take up his role in August, bringing with him a wealth of experience in academic leadership.
