A series of events for crime fiction fans will take place at Alphabetti Theatre, Newcastle this spring, bringing together people from the two very different worlds of fact and fiction.
A record 30 writers have been recognised at this year’s Northern Writers’ Awards – including the inaugural winner of the Northumbria University Student and Alumni Award.
Paula Hawkins, author of The Girl on the Train, will headline this year’s Crime Story festival, delivered in partnership by Northumbria University and New Writing North.
Writers based in the North of England have one week left to enter the Northern Writers’ Awards 2016.
