International recognition for Fine Art student

A talented Northumbria University student, known for her large-scale vibrant oil paintings, has been presented with the Student Artist of the Year award by the Fine Art Trade Guild.

The full-time equivalent number of Northumbria researchers assessed as producing world-leading and internationally excellent research has jumped from 56 in 2008, to 207 in 2014 and 840 today.
