Mobile technology helps you learn on the go
Northumbria students can now access the Blackboard eLearning Portal on their mobile devices.
The University is committed to making better and more extensive use of technology to improve the student learning experience. It has invested in the Blackboard Mobile Learn app which gives free access to the Blackboard eLearning Portal on mobile devices and tablets, including the iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android devices.
The Blackboard Mobile Learn app provides access to a number of areas of the eLearning Portal while on the move, on and off campus.
Key features include the ability to receive push notifications to your device when changes are made to eLearning Portal sites, including announcements, content, grades or tests. Users can also participate in discussions and view new content uploaded to eLearning Portal sites.
The app can be downloaded free of charge now from the Apple Store, Android Market and Blackberry App World at:
