Further your career opportunities

People interested in postgraduate study or research to further their career development opportunities can attend an open event at Northumbria University this week.

The event provides information on Northumbria’s wide range of postgraduate taught courses and research opportunities which have been designed to offer real skills which are relevant in today’s global workplace.

Attendees can find out how part-time and full-time postgraduate study can support their professional development and enable them to progress career ambitions.

Presentations will be delivered on subject areas available for postgraduate study, including social sciences, humanities, design and innovation, media and communication design, conservation, cultural management and fine art, PGCE, computing and information technology, project management and disaster management and sustainable development.

Sessions will also be offered to give advice and information on the issues you should consider when thinking about postgraduate study or research, funding matters and the University’s careers and employment service are also offering a drop-in advice clinic.

Northumbria’s Postgraduate Study and Research Event takes place on Wednesday, 6 March in the Students’ Union, City Campus West, from 12noon – 4pm.
