Study finds self-help techniques effective in curing acute insomnia, with participants reporting reduced severity, anxiety, and depression. Techniques include keeping the bedroom sleep-friendly, maintaining a sleep diary, and engaging in relaxation activities. The trial led by Dr. Greg Elder resulted in positive outcomes three months after participants began using the techniques.
